Art Gesso Latarnia Morska - acrylic black ground, after drying, super matt.

Indispensable in mixed-media, collage and art journaling, as well as painting. For priming the surface, but also whitening paints and obtaining various effects on the work. It can also be used to give a light spatial texture to the works.

The recipe was created with the participation of Agnieszka-Latarnia Morska, an expert in mixed-media techniques.

It is great for mixed-media work because it creates a pleasantly matt and slightly absorptive surface, which allows for example stamping with water and pigment inks without smudging and makes working with paints of various types and pastes much easier.
It is also suitable for wet mixing with acrylic, polymer and poster paints.
The latter added in the amount above 30% lower its hardness and elasticity parameters.

  • It has an optimal, semi-liquid consistency ideal for art journaling and mixed-media.
  • After use, brushes and tools should be washed with warm soapy water.
